In Taufers, at our hotel

Alois Steiner and Martina purchase the Gasthof Lamm (Agnello) and convert the attic into the first guest rooms. During the war years, the building is temporarily used as accommodation for the American military.

Heinrich and Irma take over the business. That same year, the first guest rooms with private showers and toilets are created. Together with Grandma Martina and Aunt Hildegard, they continue to run the inn. Over the years, the family grows with Elisabeth, Herta, Helene and Andreas.

A major leap forward in quality: the first indoor pool in the Vinschgau Valley is built, along with a small sauna, spacious guest rooms and a new dining room.

With its own wood-chip heating system, the hotel becomes an early adopter of a more sustainable form of energy generation.

Heinrich and Irma hand over the business to their son Andreas. Together with his sister Herta, he leads the hotel into the next generation. Following extensive renovations, the 3-star superior Natur Aktiv Hotel Lamm opens that same year.

A new riding arena expands the range of activities available to horse lovers of all ages.

A photovoltaic system is installed across the entire roof – another step towards a more sustainable energy supply.

The indoor riding arena is enlarged and the sunbathing lawn extended. A new children’s playground and a spacious relaxation area are added as well.

A new chapter begins: Natur Aktiv Hotel Lamm becomes TUBERIS Nature & Spa Resort.

TUBERIS continues to evolve: with TUBERIS LIFE BALANCE & NATURE FARM, new spaces are created for nature, well-being and mindful time out.
